ELAN WARREN (b. 2005, Boca Raton, Florida ) is a Kansas City-based artist. Warren’s work exists on a wall and also in three-dimensional space. His work focuses on the skin, interiority, and the sense of touch through painting, relating to the body and how we exist in the world and uphold systems. Using methods of drawing, painting, screenprinting, and sculpture, Warren has shown work in Kansas, Massachusetts, Illinois, Minnesota, and Florida. He explores the body and the space the body inhabits, questioning social positions, systems, and what constitutes a vessel. Warren will receive his Bachelor’s in fine art from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2027.
